
CIFOR-ICRAF
ICRAF Indonesia is currently implementing some projects in South Sumatra Province, there are Land4Lives Project, LASSO Project and EPISTEM Project. To maintain the administrative, financial and procurement tasks for the projects implemented in South Sumatera, ICRAF Indonesia opens the position of South Sumatra Project Operation Assistant. This position will support leading administration, financial and procurement tasks at site office by close coordinating with Provincial Coordination and Project Coordinators.
Duties and responsibilities
- Provide administrative and communication services to each ICRAF South Sumatra team member while ensuring effective coordination and implementation of the unit activities
- Assist on the Travel preparation and report (Travel Authorization/TA, tickets purchasing, travel insurance, accommodation, and Travel Expenses Report)
- Assist on Traveling Expenses Report/TER
- Procure and provide Purchase Requisition (PR)
- Initiate common data repository for ICRAF South Sumatra Team (presentation, purchasing, travel expenses report, reporting, agreements, correspondences, etc. that have been done or shared)
- Assist the ICRAF South Sumatra team in the administrative aspects related to all Land4Lives tasks and responsibilities
- Assist in developing project coordination, including a schedule of events, deadlines, and targets
- Assist in maintenance filed Office, tools, and facility
- Assist in procurement equipment process
- Assist with the publication and campaign process
- Procure and provide Purchase Requisition publication and campaign material
Education, knowledge and experience
• Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, forestry, rural development and/or other related fields
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience of successful work experience record in the subject area related to the rural development, agriculture, and forestry fields
• A minimum of 1 years’ experience of successful work experience record in the subject area related to research data collection and fieldwork
• Have a good representation and reputation with local stakeholders
• Good knowledge of South Sumatra and its local customs
• Computer literate (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, or any office application)
• Good knowledge of communication (Indonesian and English)
Terms and conditions
• This is a Locally Recruited Staff (LRS) position. CIFOR-ICRAF offers competitive remuneration in local currency, commensurate with skills and experience
• The appointment will be for 1 (one) year with the possibility of extension contingent upon performance, continued relevance of the position and available resources
• The duty station will be in Palembang, South Sumatera, Indonesia
